Youth Academic Scholarship

An Investment into our future business and professional leaders.. 

Each year we are happy to award a deserving scholar a $4000 scholarship to support the cost of books during their 4yr college journey. To date, The New Haven Club has awarded over $100,000 to deserving New Haven Area Scholars!

Now Accepting Applications! 

Eligibility requirements include:

1. Being accepted to a 4yr College or University
2. Being in the top â…“ of your HS graduating Class
3. Positive contributions to the community
4. Letter of recommendation
5. A 500 word essay

A legacy of excellence and leadership endures...

In loving memory of beloved New Haven Club Past President, and the first African American female Nurse Manager at (what is now) Yale New Haven Hospital, each year we are happy to award a deserving CNA or LPN the Estelle Thorpe Adult Nursing scholarship of $1000 to support their pursuit to becoming a Registered Nurse.

1. Being a CNA or LPN
2. Being accepted or enrolled in an accredited RN program
3. Positive contributions to the community
4. Letter of recommendation
5. A 300 word essay

6. Income under $55,000 annually
